METHOD TO DETERMINE SHAPE OF OBJECT FOR DENTAL TECHNICAL PROCESSING AND APPARATUS TO EXECUTE ABOVE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a method and an apparatus of a type of the conventional technique so that a shape of an object for a dental technical processing can be easily determined without touching. SOLUTION: Matrix cameras (32 and 34) are color matrix cameras respectively having a first, a second and a third pixels. A light in a wavelength range which is substantially distinctive for one type of the pixel (the first pixel) is detected by the matrix cameras and at least one value of the other types of the pixels (the second and the third pixels) is analyzed to determine two of the first positional coordinates (the Y coordinate and the Z coordinate).
