PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such that in a method for making a partition such as a field, etc., having a height difference as a leveled flat surface by using a leveling machine towed by a tractor, conventionally the leveling is performed by using a laser light as a standard, leveling the field by repeating that the height is held in an extent that the leveling plate can hold soil, and gradually the leveling plate is lowered when the leveling plate can not hold the soil any more, but as a result, the field can not be leveled to the last, in the case that there is a low place in the latter half of the leveling work, the leveling work becomes inefficient because the soil must be carried widely and thinly from whole place, and also it is dangerous since an operator must work by always looking back for taking care of the state of the soil on the leveling plate, etc. SOLUTION: This method of leveling work is provided by measuring field heights before the leveling work, calculating a leveled standard surface height on being leveled, displaying a height map as compared with the standard height, measuring the height in real time during the leveling work and redrawing the height map so as to perform the work efficiently.
