<p>An IC module and a mobile communication terminal incorporating the IC module that allows data communication to be safely performed even with a terminal for which no authentication is established and that shortens the time required for the data reception process, thereby also allowing a large amount of data to be received in an effective manner. A secure flash area (34) having a high level of safety is prepared. Then, data, having been passively received through noncontact communication without authentication of the other end of communication, are initially confined and accumulated in the secure flash area (34). Thereafter, upon occurrence of an off-line (a termination of communication), a predetermined security check is implemented, whereby only received data, having passed the check, are moved to another memory area (e.g., a memory area within a flash memory (32) that other applications can generally use).</p> |
