<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution with excellent maintenance property capable of easily performing attachment/detachment operation of a belt unit. <P>SOLUTION: In a laser printer 1, an opening part 2A is formed on a front surface side and a front surface cover 3 is provided so as to open/close the opening part 2A. The belt unit 15 can be detached relative to a body casing 2 through the opening part 2A in the state that the front surface cover 3 is opened. At a front side of the belt unit 15, a guide member 101 for guiding the paper is provided and the belt unit 15 is integrally constituted with the guide member 101.
