<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge which suppresses creep deformation of a charging member and can be conveyed in a state of being attached to an electrophotographic image forming apparatus main body; and to provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The process cartridge comprises a photoreceptor drum 1, a separating member 25 of the charging roller 2 and the photoreceptor drum 1, a developing roller 40, and a spacer member 26 for separating the developing roller 40 from the photoreceptor drum 1. Only when the spacer member 26 is placed in a first position, the spacer member 26 is brought into contact with the separating member 25 to separate the charging roller 2 from the photoreceptor drum 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
