<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain optimal calibration method in color calibration under environment where various kinds of proof printers and measuring instruments for calibration are mixed. <P>SOLUTION: An operator is enabled to confirm conditions of the proof printers between bases and to select processing content by adding model information of the proof printers and information about a measurement means for calibration to print data and transmitting the print data.
