<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pumping device which simplifies a piping structure and arranging simple piping by storing a control valve in a pump housing. <P>SOLUTION: The pumping device is equipped with a hydraulic power cylinder assisting a steering force, a reversible oil pump 10 which is installed inside the pump housing 1 and discharges hydraulic oil, an electric motor 11 driving the oil pump, a reservoir tank 12 which is installed in the pump housing and reserves the hydraulic oil supplied to the oil pump, and a first and second passages which are formed in the pump housing and selectively supplies and exhausts the discharging hydraulic oil of the oil pump to each oil chamber of the hydraulic power cylinder.
