<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical conductive film having high photoelectric conversion efficiency, having a narrow half-value width of absorption and excellent in color reproduction, a photoelectric conversion element, an image pickup element, a method of applying an electric field to them, and an element applied with the electric field. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion film includes at least one compound expressed by a formula (1).
