<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent skip search and to improve GOP accessibility. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical disk recording method, video information to be written onto an optical disk by performing high-efficiency encoding upon a digital video signal while using motion compensation prediction and DCT is constructed from the I picture of an intra-plane encoded image, the P picture of single-direction predictive encoded image, and the B picture of a double-direction predictive encoded image, these pictures are included as one video information block, and a system stream including a video packet constituted based on that video information block and a private packet having a stream ID of a private stream 2 is disposed and recorded. Address information corresponding to sectors relating to at least the I picture, and the P picture in the video information block is recorded in the private packet, and the private packet wherein the address information is recorded, is disposed before the video information block. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
