<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove foreign matter deposited on a window glass of a vehicle when the vehicle is in a stopped condition. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined that a microcomputer 10 is in a stopped condition based on the detection signal from an IG switch detection sensor 2. Foreign matters are detected based on the picked-up image data and the temperature image data to be obtained by an image pickup unit 3, a picked-up image processing unit 4, a temperature sensor 5 and a temperature image processing unit 6. When the size of the foreign matters is not less than the threshold, and the foreign matters are located at the position requested to remove foreign matters, the microcomputer 10 controls a wiper control unit 12 to drive a nozzle part driving motor 14 and to direct a nozzle part 24 to the position of the foreign matters. Wash liquid is ejected by a washer liquid ejection pump, and a wiper driving motor 15 is driven to wipe a windshield 22. The foreign matters deposited on the window glass of the vehicle can be removed even when the vehicle is in the stopped condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
