摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of reducing the weight of whole device, or improving detection accuracy of the number of revolutions when a detection means for the number of revolutions of the wheel is disposed. <P>SOLUTION: In the bearing device for the wheel using a constant velocity universal joint 1, the constant velocity universal joint 1 is made to be an under cut free type which has straight parts 4b, 5b on a track groove bottom surface of an outer member 3 and the track groove bottom surface of an inner member 6, and receives an outer spherical surface of an inner ring by a member fixed to an outer ring. The bearing mounted to the outer member 3 can be miniaturized thereby. Moreover, when mounting the detection means 41 for the number of revolutions of the wheel, the magnetic encoder 42 is mounted to a seal 21 of the bearing 2, and a sensor 43 is mounted to the outer ring 19 of the bearing 2.
