<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, the notification method of a print processing result and the notification program of a print processing result for surely transmitting electronic mail for notifying a print processing result, and for transmitting the electronic mail as necessary even during continuous print without lowering a print speed even when continuously executing large amounts of print jobs having the print data of one page. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP extracts an electronic mail address as the destination of the notification of a print processing result from among received print jobs (S102), and prepares a notification message about a print processing result based on the print job (S107), and when the electronic mail in which the same electronic mail address as the extracted electronic mail address is set as a destination is present in a transmission buffer for temporarily storing electronic mail in a standby state (S108 and S109: YES), a notification message is added to the text of the electronic mail (S111). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
