<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain generation of an external leakage magnetic field in both the bipolar DC power transmission (at normal operation) and the unipolar DC power transmission (at bipolar failure), while reducing the cable laying cost by constituting a bipolar DC power transmission system of a single cable. <P>SOLUTION: A main conductor 2, forming a DC power transmission path of positive or negative one polarity, is arranged at the center, and a main insulator 3, a return conductor 4 forming a DC power transmission path of polarity reverse to that of the main conductor 2, a return-path insulator 5, an external conductor 6 for a neutral conductor, an insulator 7 for the neutral conductor and cable protective layers 8 and 9 are arranged successively coaxially outside this main conductor 2, and a bipolar DC power transmission coaxial cable 1 is constituted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
