<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program selection facilitating apparatus for accurately selecting a program which suits to user's preference from among programs with program information. <P>SOLUTION: Preference degrees (102 and 107) indicating how much a user prefers each keyword extracted from program information are obtained. Also, by referring to a keyword-operation history in which the user selected a program with each keyword, interest degrees (110 and 107) indicating how much the user is interested in each keyword are obtained. By correcting the previous preference degrees by the interest degrees, new preference degree (107) is obtained, and each keyword is displayed on a screen in descending order of the new preference degrees to be selected by the user (109, 114, and 113). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
