PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress slide of a disk by increase of centrifugal force by higher speed rotation of the disk while assuring a function for holding the disk by inexpensive structure in a disk device. SOLUTION: The disk device 20 has a disk-like recording medium 21, a spindle motor 22 which rotates by providing a flange part 8 for holding the recording medium 21 and a clamp 6 which pushes the recording medium and fixes it to the spindle motor 22. A spacer 7B is provided between the recording medium 21 and the clamp 6. The spacer 7B is constituted so that rigidity to a load acting on a contact surface with the recording medium 21 in the radial direction is smaller than rigidity to a load acting on a contact surface with the clamp 6 in the radial direction.
