PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base block for vending machines which is less likely to topple with the vending machine due to earthquakes, wind pressure, or external human force, and which is easy to construct and handle. SOLUTION: An auxiliary block is so formed as to be higher than a base block, and one or a plurality of auxiliary blocks are disposed between two base blocks. Each block is connected by splicing fittings in an integrated manner. Insert nuts for inserting the splicing fittings are implanted in the four corners of the upper surface, and in the right and left corners of the front surface and in the rear surface of each base block and auxiliary block. The two diagonal corners of the upper surface can have a through-hole that fits with a ground resistance-type anchor, and the other two diagonal corners of the upper surface can have a through-hole, having a shoulder part that receives the head portion of the anchor bolt in the upper portion, and a diameter expansion part in the lower portion. Since blocks are composed of base blocks and auxiliary blocks, they can be constructed and handled conveniently. By making the height of the auxiliary block larger than that of the base block, a large mass can be secured as a whole, while keeping the fixing surface at a low level, thereby increasing the resistance to the toppling of the blocks.
