PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interpolation path generation method by which surface coarseness of a product can be efficiently improved, by creating an interpolation path to control the surface coarseness of the product to be less than the aimed value, in NC processing of the curved surface. SOLUTION: After generating a contour line path at the central position of a tool which is moved along a processing surface, the contour line path is converted into a contour line path on a processing surface, to generate interpolation paths of a predetermined number for the contour line path on the processing surface.
