PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide-show generation device which obtains sophisticated slide shows. SOLUTION: A background image 10 is prepared, wherein the areas in which still images are to be formed are stipulated as mask areas 11 and 12. Mask images 15 and 18 are multiplied by still images 21 and 24, whose positions are fixed, to obtain multiplied images 30 and 33. The background image 10 and the multiplied images 30 and 33 are added to obtain an added image 40 constituting one frame of a slide show. In the added image 40, a plurality of still image parts 41 and 42 obtained from a plurality of still images are included in inside a single frame, and a sophisticated slide show is obtained.
