PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for silencing a spraying machine and a silencer for the spraying machine maintaining silencing effect for a long period of time by surely filtering sprayed material mixed in discharged compressed air. SOLUTION: Sprayed material mixed in compressed air is separated to purify the compressed air. The purified air is attenuated by the silencing means and is discharged to atmospheric air.
