The method involves joining layers of a composite material in a loose manner and aligning the loose interconnections of the layers to each other, where the layers are interconnected with each other in firm manner. A cover sheet is discharged directly from a production flow of a sheet rotary printing machine and is set on a carrier sheet for the formation of the interconnection of the sheets. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for execution of a method of producing a composite material (2) a cover sheet or carrier sheet for use in the production of a composite material.
