A method for operating a computer with world standard sound is provided to compatibly use the world standard sound without installing language, an operation program/engine designed for each language to the computer by operating a computer environment with the world standard sound. The computer discriminates human sound or other sounds such as clap, instrument and a sound generator for a handicapped person by discriminating the sound inputted from the user. In case of the human sound, the computer is operated by a command system based on a vowel, a consonant, and combination of the vowel and the consonant. In the case of other sounds, the computer is operated by the command system according to the inputted sound.
