An accessory lighter using the battery of a mobile phone is provided to reduce fuel cost by being charged with the power of the mobile phone without separate fuel such as gas or oil and to prevent a safety accident caused by explosion or fire due to the fuel. An accessory lighter using a battery of a mobile phone includes a battery(20) of a mobile phone, a heat generating member, and an ON/OFF operation button. The battery of a mobile phone ignites the heat generating member. The heat generating member is ignited by the battery to generate heat. The ON/OFF operation button is mounted at a side surface of the lighter to supply or cut power of the battery to the heat generating member. The ON/OFF operation button ignites or extinguish the lighter by transmitting or blocking a voltage of the battery to the heat generating member. The heat generating member is installed in a radiation plate formed on an upper surface of a main body to generate heat. The heat generating member is formed of a material that can readily generate heat by the voltage of the battery.
