<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line head which enables formation of a resist pattern of the line head to be carried out simply, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting element 63 for image formation which is constructed as a dot light source is formed on a glass substrate 62. A plurality of the light emitting elements 63 are arranged in a main scanning direction, whereby a light emitting element line is formed. A TFT driving circuit 72 which drives the light emitting elements 63 is formed. Light emitting elements 77 with the function of forming the resist pattern of the line head are set at a part in the main scanning direction of the light emitting element line. The light emitting elements 77 are controlled by the TFT driving circuit 72 to be changed over between image formation and formation of the resist pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
