<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper currency handling machine, capable of confirming the sheet number of paper currencies classified by denominations stored in the paper currency handling machine, using a simple operation with a simple mechanism, in the paper currency handling machine constituted so as to store received receivable paper currencies by classified denominations, and to use the stored paper currencies for payment. <P>SOLUTION: This paper currency handling machine is provided with a paper currency receiving port 11 for feeding the paper currency, a paper currency determination unit 15 for determining the paper currency, based on an optical data; a plurality of paper currency storage boxes 30a-30d for storing the paper currencies determined as being receivable the denomination by the domination, based on a determination result; a paper currency payment port 12 for paying the paper currency; and a paid paper currency conveying passage 35 for feeding the paper currencies from the plurality of paper currency storage boxes to the paper currency payment port; the plurality of paper currency storage boxes are provided, respectively with RFID readers 31a-31d for reading RFID data written in the respective paper currencies, and is formed of a material for shielding radio waves of the frequency transmitted from the each RFID reader. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
