MOLD FRAME AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY AND DISPLAY HAVING MOLD FRAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold frame for preventing a yellowing phenomenon, to provide a manufacturing method of the mold frame, to provide a backlight assembly and a display having the mold frame.

SOLUTION: The mold frame that covers the edge of a lamp and supports an optical member arranged at the upper portion of the lamp contains a first surface member, a second one, and a silicon film; the first surface member supports the optical member; the second surface member is extended from the first one and reflects light generated from the lamp; and the second surface member is coated with the silicon film, thus preventing the mold frame from being yellowed and improving appearance quality.
