PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position determination system capable of simultaneously determining a plurality of positions of monitoring targets, optionally specifying the watching region, adapting even in case no access port is present, and precisely determining a position. SOLUTION: The position determination system comprises: the transmitters 5, 6, and 7 which are mounted on or carried by each monitoring target respectively; the plurality of receivers 8 and 9 for receiving the radio waves transmitted by the transmitters 5, 6 and 7; and the position determination device 10 connected with the plurality of receivers 8 and 9 through the cables 12 and 13 of the same transmission performance, respectively, for determining in which region in the monitoring space A the transmitters 5, 6 and 7 are present, based on the output signals of the plurality of receivers 8 and 9 through the cables 12 and 13. The position determination device 10 divides the monitoring space A into a plurality of spaces A1 and A2, and capable of respectively discriminating whether the transmitter is existing in the space or out of the space.
