PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television lens device capable of preventing vignetting from being caused by detecting that an accessory member is externally attached to an optical system whose focal distance can be changed by using a detection means, and restricting the range of the focal distance of the optical system to a range where the vignetting is not caused by using a restricting means or giving a warning so as not to cause the vignetting by using a warning means. SOLUTION: When the detection means 33 detects that a wiper unit 41 is attached to the optical system 31, a control means 35 restricts the range of the focal distance of the optical system 31 to the range (restriction range) where the vignetting is not caused through a lens driving means 32.
