EMULSIFIED EXTERNAL PREPARATION FOR SKIN AND METHOD FOR STABILIZING THE EXTERNAL PREPARATION FOR SKIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsified external preparation for the skin in which a salt of a higher fatty acid ester of ascorbyl 2-phosphate formulated in the preparation is prevented from being decreased by degradation to improve the stability of the preparation; and to provide a method for stabilizing the external preparation for the skin containing the salt of the higher fatty acid ester of the ascorbyl 2-phosphate. SOLUTION: The emulsified external preparation for the skin contains 0.03-25 mass% of the salt (A) of the higher fatty acid ester of the ascorbyl 2-phosphate represented by general formula (1) [wherein, R is a higher fatty acid residue], and 0.05-25 mass% of a mono-fatty acid ester (B) of glycerol.
