PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device capable of performing sealing with excellent airtightness by ensuring a piezoelectric vibrating element mount area inside the device. SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric device comprising: a wiring board on which the piezoelectric vibrating element is mounted; and a box-shaped cover fixed in a state of covering the wiring board, an annularly formed joining member is formed to an outer circumference of side faces of the wiring board, and a space mounted therein with the piezoelectric vibrating element wherein the inner circumference face of the side wall of the box-shaped cover and the joining member are joined is airtightly sealed.
