PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head capable of preventing the wall for shielding ejection port nozzles which are arranged at the opposite ends of a chip and wherein a plurality of groups or lines of ejection ports are adjacent to each other, from being peeled from an energy generating element substrate, even if a heat stress is applied onto the chip in the same mounting process as the current process. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head has a plurality of ejection ports arranged in high density for ejecting recording liquid droplets and having a plurality types of ejection port diameters, liquid passages arranged corresponding to respective ejection ports, energy generating elements for generating energy to eject the recording liquid in the liquid passage through the ejection ports, and liquid chambers communicating with the liquid passages, wherein the ejection ports are arranged on the same surface, and every group or every line of the plurality of ejection ports having the same ejection port diameter is provided with the liquid chamber common to the respective liquid passages. The groups or lines of the ejection ports thick in the thickness of the wall for shielding the mutually adjacent ejection ports or the lines are arranged at the opposite ends of the chip.
