A DISHWASHER PROVIDING SENSOR FOR MEASURING DETERGENT CONCENTRATION AND DISHWASHING METHOD USING THE CHIP SENSOR

A dishwasher having a detergent concentration measuring sensor and a dish-washing method using the same are provided to reduce water consumption and to prevent a stain from being left on tableware by sensing a detergent concentration, and rinsing the tableware according to the measured detergent concentration. A dishwasher having a detergent concentration measuring sensor comprises a chamber(10) receiving a tableware(1); a detergent liquid injecting unit(20) jetting detergent liquid to the tableware in the chamber; a water injecting unit(30) jetting water for rinsing to the tableware in the chamber; a conductivity analyzing sensor(60) measuring conductivity of waste water flowing out through a drain way(50); and a controller(70) computing detergent concentration of waste water out of the measured value by the conductivity analyzing sensor, and driving the water injecting unit according to the detergent concentration in waste water. The conductivity analyzing sensor is a chip sensor having a chip(61) sensing conductivity by directly contacting with waste water.
