The method for assembling portions of textile pieces edge to edge by means of an overlapping adhesive tape (28) comprises, prior to placing the tape, of sticking the adjoining edges (18,20) to the textile edges (14,16) so as hold together these edges. The two stuck adjoining edges are shaved near the brought together edges and the adhesive tape is overlapped on these edges and the shaved stuck edges and the shaved edges are flattened during the sticking of the adhesive tape. |
