Joint used in the connection and fastening of the ends of pipes to the ends of units to which they are coupled that prevent their disengagement and is characterised in that the same joint may be used for different pipe diameters, for which purpose its is made up of a series of individual biting pieces joined to one another by means of a series of flexible connecting pieces engaged in recesses machined in the sides of the biting pieces, said pieces having an irregular triangular profile on which on its inner face there is a series of sawteeth that prevent the pipes from being pulled out. The adaptation of the same configuration of a joint to the different pipe diameters is achieved by tightening up the connecting pieces and reducing the space left between the biting pieces, either by bending part of the stem of the connecting piece or inserting these deeper into the biting pieces.
