MEASUREMENT APPARATUS OF MEAN ARTERIAL PRESSURE

An apparatus for measuring a mean arterial pressure is provided to reduce inconvenience of measurement by measuring the mean arterial pressure of a user through one device. An apparatus for measuring a mean arterial pressure includes an input unit(110), and a calculation control unit(120). The input unit inputs a maximum pressure value of pressure values applied to measure a pulse pressure on a measuring part by a pressure sensor. The input unit inputs a depth of a blood vessel and an elastic value of a skin tissue of the measuring part by the pressure sensor. The calculation control unit calculates a mean arterial pressure value by compensating the maximum pressure value based on the depth of the blood vessel and the elastic value. The maximum pressure value is measured by a Tonometry method which observes a change of the pulse pressure of the blood vessel according to the pressure value applied on the measuring part.
