A PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient) resistor for a fan motor of an evaporator in a vehicle air conditioner is provided to emit heat generated by a PTC element by air path formed by upper and lower heating plates, and prevent short between supporting dies of the upper and lower heating plates by forming a terminal unit(50), insulation walls and side walls into the base plate by integral insert-molding. A PTC resistor for a fan motor of an evaporator in a vehicle air conditioner includes upper and lower heating plates(10,20), and a rectangular plate-shaped PTC element(70) fitted between the upper and lower heating plates for emitting heat through an air path formed by the upper and lower heating plates. A base plate(30) is integrally formed with a terminal unit(50), an insulation walls(31) and side walls(32) by insert-molding for preventing short possibly generated between supporting dies(11,21) of the upper and lower heating plates. The upper and lower heating plates respectively have the supporting dies at both sides, and a plurality of cooling blades(13,23) protruded from a connection surface(12,22) between the supporting dies. The cooling blades are formed with corrugation for increasing surface areas thereof. A space part(14) is formed between the supporting dies of the upper heating plate to define an air path by being coupled with the lower heating plate. A central one among the cooling blades of the lower heating plate has an air path at an end(24), wherein the air path is formed with a circular section for contacting a U-shaped elastic element(40) attached to the center of the base plate.
