The device (1) comprises a head having a shape designed to be at least partly wedged into the gap between two adjacent planks (6) in the pallet (3), an object contact part joined to the head and designed to contact an upright wall of the object (2) being secured to the pallet and at least one pallet contact part joined to the head and designed to contact an upright surface on the pallet. The pallet contact part is flat and the object contact part is curved. An independent claim is also included for the use of a set of four of these devices for fixing an object to a pallet.
