<p>The method involves conveying a substrate web (3) made of a polymer material and metal foils (4,6) from a pressing mechanism along a common conveying direction in the same speed. A conveying unit (13) conveys a polymer foil (5) made of a polymer material so that the unit is brought in between the metal foils. The web, metal foils and the polymer foil are connected with one another within a joining unit (19) by the pressing mechanism (20). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a polymer-metal coextrudate having the same material as the polymer material of a substrate web (2) a device for manufacturing the polymer-metal coextrudate (3) a use of a polymer-metal coextrudate as a trim strip in automobile, a wall connection section and as a covering section of different arrangements in technical areas.</p> |
