A paper core for a paper pipe and a paper pipe assembly with the same are provided to mass-produce uniform-sized paper cores by stacking a plurality of disc-shaped papers. A paper core(30) is inserted into and fixed in a circular paper pipe(21) to reinforce the circular paper pipe. The core has an predetermined outer diameter. A plurality of disc-shaped paper plates(31) are stacked. A through-hole(31a) is formed at a central portion of the core. At least one of the stacked paper plates is a corrugated board. Some portions of the outer peripheral surfaces of the stacked paper plates are removed. The adjacent paper plates are fixed and attached by an adhesive. The paper core includes a reinforcing paper pipe inserted into the through-holes of the central portions of the stacked paper plates.
