A quality inspection apparatus for a double-sided printing machine which includes a rubber impression cylinder (2) and a rubber cylinder (3) for printing opposite faces of paper; inking units (6, 7) for supplying ink to the rubber impression cylinder (2) and the rubber cylinder (3), inking units (6, 7) being supported to be brought into contact with and separated from the rubber impression cylinder (2) and the rubber cylinder (3); and a transport mechanism for transporting the printed paper to a delivery unit (16) while holding the same. The transport mechanism includes a first delivery chain (17) passing through a lower side of the inking units (6, 7), first through third transport cylinders (18-20) for transporting the paper from the first delivery chain (17), and a second delivery chain (22) for transporting the paper from the first through third transport cylinders (18-20). The quality inspection apparatus includes an inspection camera (25) for detecting a status of printing on one face of the paper when transported by the first transport cylinder (18), and an inspection camera (27) for detecting a status of printing on the other face of the paper when transported by the second transport cylinder (19). <IMAGE> |
