SYSTEM FOR OBSERVING ABNORMAL SYMPTOMS OF A PERSON AND METHOD THEREOF

A system and a method for monitoring abnormal symptoms of a person are provided to cut down the cost by finally judging the abnormal symptom of through precise analysis using image information after primary detection of abnormal symptom. A system(1) for monitoring abnormal symptoms of a person is composed of: at least one motion sensor(10) installed at the specific spot to detect the motion of an object in a monitoring area; at least one image camera(20) installed at the specific spot to generate image information; an abnormal symptom sensing device(30) operated for a monitoring time to determine a first abnormal symptom when a motion sensing signal is not transmitted from the motion sensor for a predetermined time and transmit an image photographed by the cameras; a network(40); and an abnormal symptom analyzing/informing device(50) comparing the image received from the abnormal symptom sensing device through the network, with the previous images, judging the motion of the person by deciding whether pixels of a region correspondent to the person are over a predetermined range, judging the normal rest state of the person by comparing a background image with an image of a pre-stored rest place if for the rest time of the person, and finally determining that the person abnormally acts if the image including the person is not different from the previous images or the person is not in a normal rest state and sending information about the abnormal symptom of the person to a predetermined phone number.
