A method for fabricating a plasma display panel is provided to easily introduce discharge gas in a panel through a discharge gas introducing pipe which is fixed to a lower portion of a panel. An upper substrate with a first through-hole and a lower substrate with a second through-hole are prepared(S1). A discharge gas introducing pipe and a vent pipe are formed(S2). The upper board and the lower board are aligned, and the discharge gas introducing pipe is fixed to the first through-hole and the vent pipe is fixed to the second through-hole(S3). After the panels are put in a vacuum chamber, and the upper panel and the lower panel are sealed by pumping out air from an interior of the panels(S4). An impurity gas is discharged from the panel, and a tip portion of the vent pipe is sealed(S5). After the panel is transferred to an atmosphere furnace(S6), a discharge gas is introduced in the panel(S7).
