In a tape connector comprising first and second mating members 100a, 100b at least one of which is provided with means for fixing a tape end to it, the first member 100b is of substantially rectangular surface configuration, with an elongated aperture 105 therethrough, and the second member 100a comprises a tapered portion having at the narrower end thereof a hook-formed retaining section 111a adapted to pass through the aperture in the first member and at the wider end thereof, a lip 103 protruding from the wider end of the portion to terminate adjacent the inner end of the retaining section. As shown, the connector is made from a plastics material, such as nylon, and both mating members 100a and 100b are formed with apertures 101, 108 respectively for attaching tape ends. |
