A piezoelectric actuated linear motor, a method for driving the same, and a camera module using the same are provided to implement miniaturization and light weight by implementing a linear back-and-forth movement through the piezoelectric actuated linear motor. A piezoelectric actuated linear motor includes a piezoelectric body(10), a magnetic body(20), a permanent magnet(30), and a cover. The piezoelectric body(10) is contracted and extended in thickness and length directions by an electric field generated in a voltage. The magnetic body(20) is fixed on a part of the piezoelectric body(10). The permanent magnet(30) is contacted with a part of the magnetic body(20) by a magnetic force. The cover exposes a plane of the magnetic body(20) contacted with the permanent magnet(30), and covers the piezoelectric body(10) and the magnetic body(20). The cover is made of an elastic material not to interrupt deformation of the piezoelectric body(10) and the magnetic body(20). |
