A washing machine having boiling function is provided to decrease electric power consumption by heating a washing tub to the appropriate temperature and maintaining the internal pressure of the washing tub to an optimal pressure. A washing machine having boiling function comprises a heater(100) heating a washing tub(20) operated by a control unit(70); a temperature detecting sensor(110) detecting the temperature of the washing tub, a wash liquor, and a water temperature and outputting it into a control unit; a washing tub cover(120) installed at a washing machine cover(60) to open and close the washing tub; a sealed member(130) installed at the washing machine cover or the washing tub to seal a clearance of the washing tub and the washing machine cover; a washing machine cover immersion apparatus(140) where the washing machine cover is fixed in a washer body(10) to prevent the washing tub cover installed at the washing machine cover from opening by increasing the internal pressure of the washing tub; and a pressure controller(150) installed at the washing machine cover to maintain the internal pressure of the washing tub to an optimal pressure. |
