The rotary pump (1) comprises an external housing (2) in which an oblong rotary element (27) is housed which rotates about an axis (9). A sealing device is interposed between the rotary element and the housing to define two variable volume chambers (29,30). The sealing device comprises a rocker arm (31) which tips along a rocker axis (36) parallel to the rotational axis. Two sealing lips (39) supported by the rocker arm seal the rotary element. The lips are located on the sides opposite to the plane containing the two axes. |
