A microwave oven is provided to prevent a user from burning by directly discharging high temperature air containing the moisture and odor of a cooking cavity through an exhaust port and formed with an air flow. A microwave oven comprises a fan assembly(63), a first flow channel, a second flow channel(77), a third flow channel, and an air guide(83). The fan assembly is arranged in an electrical component chamber(61) arranged on a top surface of a cavity(50), and provides driving force for forming an air flow. The first flow channel is interposed between one side of the cavity and one side of an outer case(67), and transfers outdoor air introduced through a plurality of intake ports(71) formed at one end of a rear surface of the cavity arranged in the vicinity of the fan assembly to the electrical component chamber. The second flow channel is interposed between the other side of the cavity and the other side of the outer case, and allows for flow of air cooled electrical components of the electrical component chamber. The third flow channel is interposed between a bottom surface of the cavity and a top surface of a base plate(69), and discharges air transferred from the second flow channel to the outside through a plurality of exhaust ports(73) formed at the base plate. The air guide is arranged on the base plate, and guides air flowing along the third flow channel to the exhaust ports.
