A structure and a method for controlling a temperature of an oil pipe in an air conditioner are provided to keep an oil surface level uniformly according to atmospheric temperature, thereby keeping refrigerant storing amount of each compressor and realizing smooth lubrication. A structure for controlling a temperature of an oil pipe in an air conditioner includes an indoor unit and an outdoor unit having a plurality of compressors(120a,120b), an oil pipe(130) mounted between the compressors for controlling oil levels of the compressors uniformly, and a temperature control part(300) for controlling a temperature of the oil pipe according to atmospheric temperature. The temperature control part has branch paths(310) branched from a common pipe(212) for branching refrigerant from the common pipe, and a heat exchanger(320) connected to the branch paths respectively and receiving refrigerant for carrying out heat exchange between the branched refrigerant and the oil pipe.
