A battery coupling structure of a mobile terminal is provided to solve a problem of the related art that a lock button fixing a battery is easily released from a mobile terminal to stop power supply to the mobile terminal when a user carelessly drops the mobile terminal or an external force is applied to the mobile terminal. A mobile terminal includes a terminal body(100) having a battery receiving recess(120) and a battery(130) detachably received in the battery receiving recess(120) and supplying power to the terminal body(100). A locking unit, which includes a locking protrusion(132) and a locking button(122), allows the battery(130) to be maintained as received in the battery receiving recess(120). A movement restraining unit, which includes a stopping member(133) and a stopping protrusion, is provided on a mutually contact surface of the battery receiving recess(120) and the battery(130) to restrain the battery(130) from moving along a plane direction of the battery receiving recess(120).
