CLOTHES DRYER

A clothes dryer is provided to effectively control the path resistance of the air and extend the remaining time of the hot air in the drum by varying the opening degree of the damper, thereby capable of removing a large quantity of moisture in initial drying process. A clothes dryer is composed of a cabinet(12); a drying container(16) rotatably mounted in the cabinet; a driving part for supplying the rotary force to the driving container; a first air path(20) connected to one side of the drying container; a second air path(22) connected to the other side of the drying container and connected to the outside of the cabinet; and first and second heat exchanging parts(30,32) exchanging heat with the air flowed to the first air path. The first and second air paths are placed at the lower part of the drying container. The first heat exchanging part dehumidifies the inlet air through the heat exchanging, and the second heat exchanging part increases the temperature of the inlet air.
