A method for extracting krypton and/or xenon by using low temperature air decomposition is provided to extract krypton and/or xenon without a peculiar raw krypton-xenon and to minimize loss of krypton and xenon with products of a low pressure column. Compressed and cleaned gases(1,1A,1B, 29) are introduced into a nitrogen-oxygen separating rectification system including at least one high pressure column(2) and a low pressure column(3). A liquid(42) having a high oxygen content is discharged at a first point of the low pressure column. At least one first part(43) of the liquid having a high oxygen content is retransmitted to a second point of the low pressure column. A material exchange section(44) is arranged between the first point and the second point of the low pressure column. Another liquid(35) is discharged from a third point of the low pressure column which is at a height of the second point or lower than the second point so that the liquid is introduced into an evaporating chamber of a first condenser-evaporator(4), wherein the liquid is partially evaporated. A fraction(138) containing krypton and xenon is discharged from the evaporating chamber of the first condenser-evaporator. The fraction containing krypton and xenon is introduced into an evaporating chamber of a second condenser-evaporator(27). A krypton and xenon concentrate(125) is discharged from the second condenser-evaporator.
